New

Optimize screen transition speed in Knox Remote Support viewer

When using the Knox Remote Support viewer to remotely view a device’s screen, you can use the Screen transition speed option to adjust the frames per second and optimize the video feed. You can set it to High for smoother and faster transitions, but this setting is accompanied by high data usage. In scenarios where the network connection is limited or unstable, set the screen transition speed to Medium or Low to balance video quality and data consumption.

Updates

Enhanced screen quality settings in Knox Remote Support viewer

Previously, you could use transmission quality options to set screen quality – the values were 100%, 50%, and 30%. With 25.07, you can adjust screen quality using High, Medium, and Low options, respectively.

Browser recommendation added

When you open Knox Remote Support console in Safari, a notification message displays advising you to use the latest version of Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox for the best experience.

For more information, see Minimum requirements.

To ensure secure network communication and enhance performance, Knox Remote Support now supports Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.3.
