Unable to disable predictive text in a work profile

• Knox Service Plugin
• Device running Android 14 and higher
• Work profile

Overview

When enabling Disable Predictive Text with Deep Settings Customization, you may encounter an issue where the configuration doesn’t affect the work profile on a device.

Cause

Deep Settings Customization doesn’t affect the predictive text setting in the work profile, and is only applicable to the personal profile on a device.

Resolution

To disable predictive text in a work profile:

1. In your device’s work profile, launch any app that requires a text field input.
2. Tap the text field to launch Samsung Keyboard.
3. On the keyboard, tap to launch Samsung Keyboard settings.
4. Disable Predictive text.
