Knox Mobile Enrollment 25.07 release notes

Last updated August 5th, 2025

New

Centralized enrollment across Samsung Knox cloud services

Starting with 25.07, Knox Mobile Enrollment profiles are now referred to as enrollment profiles. Clicking the Profiles menu in the Knox Mobile Enrollment console opens the Enrollment profiles page in the Knox Admin Portal, where you can manage enrollment profiles as before. For more information, see Create an enrollment profile.

Additionally, out-of-box experience (OOBE) enrollment now supports selected Knox cloud services in addition to EMM. You can configure enrollment profiles for your EMM, Knox E-FOTA, Knox Asset Intelligence, and Knox Service Plugin when creating a new Enrollment profile or editing an existing profile.

Updates

Profile assignment bulk actions are now unified under one action

  • Prior to 25.07, you had two options to assign devices in bulk — assigning different profiles to uploaded devices, or assigning a single profile to uploaded devices. Both these actions are now combined in the new Assign enrollment profile action. Additionally, you can use the Assign enrollment profile action to assign each device to a user by providing their user credentials.
  • Previously, the user interface for bulk actions in the Knox Mobile Enrollment device list had its own unique design. From 25.07, the user interface designs of both the Knox Mobile Enrollment and the common device bulk actions have a similar design.

Deprecations

Notice for removal of KDA enrollment support

The Knox Deployment App (KDA) is scheduled for deprecation in the upcoming release. Following this change, you will no longer be able to use KDA with Knox Mobile Enrollment to enroll devices in your EMM solution.

You can use the reseller upload or QR code method instead.
