Overview
When using the Knox Manage console, you may want to change the console’s session timeout length from the default 30 minutes. However, when changing the timeout value in Set Session Timeout through the Admin ID drop-down, you may notice the session timeout behavior doesn’t update.
How do I change the session timeout length in the Knox Manage console?
To change the Knox Manage console’s session timeout length, you must first change the console configuration.
- On the navigation pane, select Setting > Configuration > Basic Configuration.
- In the Preferences tab, under Authentication/Login, you can set the Maximum Session Timeout (min).
- Enter your desired session timeout length (maximum 60 minutes).
- Click Save > Ok to save your console configuration preferences.
- On the top right of your console, click the
drop-down next to your Admin ID and click Session. The Set Session Timeout dialogue opens.
- Enter your desired session timeout length (maximum 60 minutes).
- Click Save.
The session timeout length is now changed in the Knox Manage console.
