Error KMA_F5011 — License Activation Failed

Overview

When enrolling a new device in Knox Manage, you may encounter the following error:

[ERROR] [KMA_F5011]
License Activation Failed
Failed to get valid licenses from the KM server. Please contact your administrator to check if there are valid licenses available.

Cause

Starting with Knox Manage 25.01, newly enrolled devices are auto-assigned a Knox Suite - Enterprise Plan, Knox Suite - Essentials Plan, or Knox Manage license. When enrolling a device, the KMA_F5011 error occurs if none of your licenses have an available license seat.

Resolution

When encountering this error, you can check the number of license seats available on the Licenses page of your Knox Admin Portal. If there are no available license seats, you can unenroll a device to release a license seat or you can purchase a new license.
