Knox Guard 25.07 release notes
Last updated August 5th, 2025
New
Apply new policies when uploading devices through resellers
You can now automatically apply Android Debug Bridge (adb
) command and Android Enterprise (AE) provisioning policies to devices uploaded to Knox Guard through the Reseller Portal.
To do so, select the following reseller preferences:
- Automatically Block ADB command on all devices uploaded by this reseller — Also blocks access to the device’s Developer options menu.
- Automatically unblock AE provisioning on all devices uploaded by this reseller
Updates
View result of adb command and developer mode blocking separately
Previously, when blocking or unblocking Android Debug Bridge (adb
) communication and the Developer options menu, you could view their collective status in the ADB command column of the Devices table.
With this release, the status of each is displayed in different columns. A new Developer mode column is added to the Devices table that shows the status of the Developer options menu separately.
Android Enterprise provisioning management available to all admins
Previously, management permissions for Android Enterprise provisioning weren’t available to all customers. With this release, all Knox Guard admins can unblock Android Enterprise provisioning, without having to request for additional permissions from a Samsung admin.
