Overview

This article provides information on how to enable and disable the auto-lock feature on the Knox Guard console or using the Knox Guard API. Auto-lock is used to automatically lock devices after they’re enrolled in Knox Guard.

The auto-lock feature is only available upon request. To request access, please contact your local Samsung representative or submit a support ticket.

Knox Guard console

You can enable and disable the auto-lock feature on one or more devices from the Knox Guard console. For more information, see Enable and disable auto-lock.

Knox Guard API

With an authorized Knox cloud services API configuration, you can use the Knox Guard API to enable and disable the auto-lock feature. For more information on how to use the Set Auto-lock endpoint, see Knox Guard API reference v1.1.3.
