Overview
Deep Settings Customization (DSC) policies allow you to configure values for specific device settings while also hiding or preventing device users from modifying these settings. When using Deep Settings Customization policies with Knox Service Plugin or Knox Configure, you may encounter an issue where the Circle to Search function doesn’t work as intended. Nothing happens when the home button is pressed and the feature appears to be disabled.
Cause
When you apply any Deep Settings Customization configuration to a device, an internal module disables the device home button’s press-and-hold function. As a result, Circle to Search is disabled. This is expected behavior.
Resolution
If you want to use Circle to Search, don’t apply any Deep Settings Customization policies to your device.
