Overview

Starting with the Knox Configure 25.01 release, you may notice that the Skip Setup Wizard and enable FRP Bypass feature is disabled.

Cause

The conditions for obtaining this permission were updated as of Knox Configure 25.01.

The Skip Setup Wizard and enable FRP Bypass feature is enabled for your tenant if all of the following conditions are met:

You have an existing profile with Skip Setup Wizard and enable FRP Bypass enabled.
The profile has been applied to at least one device before November 27, 2024.
The device is assigned a commercial license.

If your device is assigned a trial license and the remaining conditions are met, the Skip Setup Wizard and enable FRP Bypass feature remains enabled on the device if configured previously. If the policy is reconfigured or reassigned to the device, this feature isn’t enforced.

In such cases, assigning a commercial license to your device automatically grants the Skip Setup Wizard and enable FRP Bypass feature to the tenant.

Resolution

To gain access to the Skip Setup Wizard and enable FRP Bypass feature, submit a support ticket.
